Snorkeling at Menjangan Island is probably the best experience Bali can give you.

Jatiluwih Green Land

As the rains start pouring, these 300 acres of stunning green land full of tropical vegetation looks mesmerising and is an ideal spot for nature lovers and couples looking for a peaceful romantic getaway. If visiting Jatiluwih green Land is not possible, you can bike through Tegalalang rice fields which is only half an hour away from Ubud by road.

Batur Volcano


If you are up for some trekking, Batur Volcano, one of the three volcanoes in Bali and the most active one is to be trekked. It is a major Shaivite temple and is popularly known as the “water temple” as it is established on a natural lake. This temple has one of the best sunrises in Bali and to watch that you must stay somewhere near to the temple, as North Bali is quite far from the usual Bali tourism. To the south of Bali is the Uluwatu Temple which must be visited before the sunset, as the temple is situated facing the Indian Ocean, the view from this temple during sunset is breath-taking. Uluwatu temple is also famous for its fire and kecak dance which makes the visit to this temple a wholesome experience. Tirtha Empul which is unique as it has 12 pipes which emanate sacred water. This water is used by people who visit this temple to purify themselves and for religious rituals.
